Hi,
I tried to capture a list of suggested changes for SIPConnect 1.1 based
on our experience with deploying SIPConnect 1.0 in the field. Because I
wanted to put it into context, I decided the best approach would be to
take the existing SIPConnect 1.0 specificaiton and mark it up -- Marc
Robins has kindly posted this to the document repository (thanks Marc)
-- see

/Itemid,75/
<http://www.sipforum.org/component/option,com_docman/task,cat_view/gid,4
5/Itemid,75/> (Broadsoft Proposal for SIPconnect 1.1) . But please,
do not read too much into this--its not intended to be any baseline for
the new version of SIPConnect -- it just seemed to be an easier way for
me to capture the input.
As suggested in an earlier email, I focused on areas that we, as an
application server vendor, have found to be difficult to integrate with
IP-PBX's today --- such as redirecting services, voicemail, multiple
identities and calling line id presentation. In particular, I'm staying
out of the UDP/TCP discussion :)
regards,
Jamie
