[SIPForum-techwg] TCP vs. UDP (SP adoption of TCP?)

Good doc...
When my customers see a device with 12 buttons and a handset, they
usually display a deep belief that it will be as reliable as the Model
500 from their youth.
Bear in mind that with only a few phreakers and a scant number of very
simple services to offer, the PSTN found it necessary to bear the cost
and complexity of signaling over a (usually) physically separate network
using a protocol stack that has OAM and reliability constructs driven
all the way down to Layer 2.
Since commercial users expect VOIP to deliver its breadth of promised
services with the reliability of the PSTN in spite of the presence of
malicious nation-states, I find it difficult to not advocate for
reliability and security at every opportunity.

It would be advantageous for people on this list to read the following
draft:
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-tsvwg-udp-guidelines
