[SIPForum-techwg] Real Interoperability

We need a spec that is extremely simple to test and that is blindingly
clear on what constitutes "SIPconnect 1.1-compliant". In my mind,
ideally someone should be able to create an automated test tool that
mimics one end of the "SIPconnect 1.1" IP-PBX to SSP connection so
that vendors can test their product against that tool. (Perhaps there
can be two such tools, one for either end.) The fewer SHOULDs and
MAYs you have, the more likely you can get to this state... and the
more widely supported the spec can be.

My 2 cents,
Dan
