Hi, this is Germano from Rome.

We’re noticed a strange behaviour by a softphone used into a early Media scenario.

Between IMS and called party there is a MGW.

In particular:

1.	INVITE sent correctly with empty SDP,
2.	100 Trying,
3.	a “407 Proxy Authentication Required” was received,
4.	a new INVITE sent by softphone with sdp info,
5.	then a lot of RTP messages received back with Payload, SSRC, Seq and Time fields populated.

In some scenario the Seq field start by 0 and was increased by 1 during the call and called and caller were correctly connected.

In another scenario the Seq field start by 0 and was increased by 1 during the call … but suddenly it was reset to zero e sequential re-start again as previously.

In this last case called was able to listen calling, instead calling was not able to listen called party.

Is there someone able to help me details previous scenario and understand the reason for problem ?

Is this a MGW or device problem ?

Regards. Germano.
