Rohan asked me to look at this. I have no idea how to send comments to the
list but I noticed you were all contributors so please forward for me....
I like a lot of the document but it has many problems...
Given I don't know of enterprise PBX that do reliable provisional stuff, I
don't think I would make that mandatory. I could not see any features that
needed it.
Why would you need 3265 - is this just for MWI
Do you really want 3725
I might be wrong but I think that 3892 requires S/MIME - I doubt you want to
do that
4028 - Why? Do you really care?
I think the idea of a PBX registering to SP has so many problems. I can't
believe you guys are supporting that.
You are making this only work for enterprises where proxy is not behind a
NAT. This is lame. Particularly outside North America
"Validation can be performed using CRL, OSCP" is a pretty confused line. How
about deleting all the draft that no one understands.
I doubt anyone has thought much about the network account idea. This is
going to be some much fun. So using the credentials on my phone, I can make
calls as my boss. Of does this require the PBX to be a B2BUA?
>From a PAI point of view, the document seems unclear if the PBX in the Trust
Domain, if the end phone is in the Trust Domain, are two different
enterprises with same SP in the same trust domain and what the Spec(T) would
look like. Based on the answer to this, some of the other parts seem a
little weird.
You really want to require inband DTMF? This is really in band like in the
711 not 2833 on the GW side?
The call progress tones are US only. This seems really bad for a sip forum
document. I would be happy to contribute a list of other tones if you would
like :-)
