Dear Kim,

My colleague Catherine Hallowell has forwarded to me your email about the
endorsement of the IP Network Transformation Forum in London, 10-11 June
2008. I am very happy to have the SIP Forum on board.

We are planning to have all the leading operators and vendors in the All-IP
space including BT, KPN, Telenor, Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel, Cisco, ZTE, but
also the key emergent operators and vendors from the most dynamic markets. I
have attached to this email the conference draft agenda together with a
supporting info document for you to review.

I am currently reserving the speaking slots for operators and sponsors only,
but I would be happy to have a representative of one of your member
companies on each of the two following interactive panel discussions
(possibly 1 company for each panel):

Day 1, 12.25 - Panel Discussion: How Can We Respond to the Key Convergence
Requirements of our IP Networks? (page 3 of the attached draft)

Day 2, 10.45 - Panel Discussion: Exploring the Imperative to Invest in NGNs
and Challenging Perceptions About the Extent to Which IMS is Central to a
NGN Architecture Strategies (page 6 of the attached draft)

I look forward to receiving your feedback.

Kind regards,

Daniele

Dear Kim

Thank you for getting back to me. We are delighted you would like to be
involved in the event. I have forwarded your request on to the programme
manager Daniele Tricarico who will be in touch to discuss what we can do for
you.

In the meantime could you send me your company logo and a 150 word company
description so that I can add these on to our brochure as it is being
designed at the moment and also onto the website once it goes live.

Could you also let me know what size banner you require for me for your
website and I can start on getting it designed.

As for the discount for your members I will set this up with our booking
department. Could we schedule the email to be sent to them on w/c 07/04/08.
Would you like me to send you a plain text or HTML email?

I look forward to hearing back from you and working with you to promote this
event.

Kind regards

Catherine Hallowell

  Hi Catherine,

We would be interested in moving forward with a sponsorship agreement.
Love having a speaking spot - thank you! However, we would have to offer
this spot to one of our member companies. Most are eager for speaking
slots, and would be at the event to support the SIP Forum, but there is
always a slim chance that we wouldn't get any bites on the opportunity. Are
you ok with a member representing the Forum vs. one of our board members?

    Dear Kim

I would like to invite the SIP Forum to endorse our forthcoming event -
IP Network Transformation Forum due to take place in Brussels in June 2008.
The Forum is a brand new event and is aimed at technical and strategic
specialists of fixed, ISPs and convergent operators. The agenda is currently
being completed and will cover the integration in the core of new IP
technologies and architectures, the evolution from IP/MPLS towards carrier
Ethernet in the core, challenges and benefits of moving network intelligence
to the edge, IP Qos Management, IP Security, evolution to Ipv6,
standardization and interoperability as well as the network requirements to
deploy cutting edge IP services (IPTV, VPN, enterprise services, data
services and VAS for the consumer market)

The IP Network Transformation Forum is the only upcoming event which
will address the technical and strategic challenges in designing and
optimising the all-IP core networks of the next generation.

I would like to propose the following arrangement between us

    Informa to provide
Placement of the SIP Forum logo on all marketing materials
Placement of the SIP Forum logo on the event website with 150 word
profile and link back to the SIP Forum website
A 15% discount to all SIP Forum members to attend the event
An insert into the delegate bags or full page advertisement in the
conference documentation (SIP Forum to advise)
A speaking slot/seat on a panel at the event (SIP Forum to choose)

    SIP Forum to provide
    Endorsement of the event
A banner advertisement (with link to event website) and listing in the
industry events section of the website
An email to be sent to all members informing them of the 15% discount
available to members (html or text can be provided by Informa and copies
need to be sent to Informa for their records)

A speaker/representative to participate in the event

I hope that this is of interest to you and I hope very much that we can
work together to promote this event.

I look forward to hearing from you

    Kind regards
