[SIPForum-discussion] 180 Ringing is resent while recipient does not respond(with 200 ok) to invitation

can any one help  me out in understandin the Behaviour of recp in the
following case
The problem is as below.
A ---------INVITE---------> B
A<----180 Ringing------   B
 A<----180 Ringing------   B
 A<----180 Ringing------   B
 A<----180 Ringing------   B
 A<----180 Ringing------   B

what should be the behaviour When B fails to Respond with 200ok
1. can it Re-Transmit 180
2.180 should be sent only once to the originator

which is correct and y and if possible one Refference Document?
