[SIPForum-discussion] UNSUBSCRIBE method

PINT (RFC2848) defines three new additions to core SIP: SUBSCRIBE,
NOTIFY, and UNSUBSCRIBE.  However, IANA's "Session Initiation Protocol
(SIP) Parameters" (http://www.iana.org/assignments/sip-parameters, last
updated 2007-12-17) does not list UNSUBSCRIBE as a registered method for
SIP.  Can anyone explain this apparent disparity for me?  Is UNSUBSCRIBE
deprecated, and hence unsupported as of 2008?
