[SIPForum-discussion] about the largest size of the payload

hi,
  i can receive about 1000 bytes in my application, so it seams that i am using UDP transport. but how can change it to TCP transport?
  i am using J2ME and the SUN WTK2.5 to receive sip messages

    I referred a book called Team Lib, In that he has mentioned as below.
   
  A SIP UA must support UDP transport and also
  TCP if it sends messages greater than 1,000 octets in size.
   
  Let me have a check on this ...............

      Some proxies does support that. 
   
      I haven't seen any phone that would support 64K though (I think 32K was accepted).

  The payload for UDP is 1000 octets and for TCP I think as Peoli mentioned there is no limit.
  If any one knows plz let us know the same.
