[SIPForum-discussion] About authentication on invite

Please consider the following scenerio

1.Invite sent
2. got 401 unauthorized
3. Invite sent again with authorization
4. 401 again

For how many times should i resend the invite?

again with HOLD

the same problem i face. Is there any thing in the RFC regarding how many
times should i resend?
I found nothing explicitly. Please help. Thanx in advance.
